While the Element Manager monitors and controls the operation of individual Nimbra units, Nimbra Vision is a Network Manager providing a “big picture” view of everything going on in the complete Nimbra system. It allows you to manage signal routing, failover protocols and provisioning at the network layer.
Nimbra Vision uses SNMP to communcate with the network elements and automatically discovers all Nimbra devices in your network.
It monitors and logs everything in a searchable database. You can discover information about faults, network issues, loads, signal routings, and network traffic. This valuable data is easy to filter in order to diagnose complex system problems as well as in planning network expansion and reconfiguration.
